The implementation of the project comes as a response to the statistics provided by specialized publications on entrepreneurship. According to these statistics, 52% of Romanian students are planning to start their own business in the next two years, while 57% prefer to be entrepreneurs and not managers in a company. Their message is clear: they want to be entrepreneurs. Thus, UPB decided to start a program that meets the needs of young student entrepreneurs. Designed and implemented in partnership with the Romanian Association for Smart City and Mobility, the entrepreneurial program provides participants with all the information and know-how necessary for a debut entrepreneur, as well as the opportunity to present their business idea to a jury potential investors in the second round of the SMART Start Up Romania competition.
